Bamboo Gates - Naomi House Children’s Hospice Winchester

Creating a set of uplifting gates for the memorial garden of the Winchester based hospice.

The Process

We were tasked with creating some gates to suit a child friendly area of the hospice. This included incorporating bright colours and a fun design.

The team created an interesting bamboo style from round tube - adding leaves to complete the look.

Jiminy Cricket features on the outer post of the gate, introducing a fun little detail.

Bamboo comes in a whole variety of colours, but we went with bright greens and yellows for the powder coating to maintain a more joyful feel.

The gates were installed over the course of a day.
